Get your humblebrags ready!!! Prior to that, you need to prepare your entries and submit to the Kam Fan Awards 2023 by the various deadlines. Try your best to take advantage of the Early Bird that will end on January 4, 2024. The Kam Fan Awards 2023 is now inviting entries. Advertising campaigns and creative work launched in Hong Kong between January 1, 2023 and January 24, 2024 are eligible for entry. Please refer to the Kam Fan Awards 2023 Entry Kit and List of Categories for details. Upon closing of the entry system on January 24, 2024, the Kam Fan international jury will kick off the first round of judging online. In early March, the jury will convene in Hong Kong for the final round of judging. They will jointly deliberate the shortlisted entries and award the trophies accordingly. The esteemed jury of Kam Fan Awards 2023 will unveil the winners of the awards at a presentation ceremony on March 11, 2024. We kindly ask you to save the date! With a long-standing mission to inspire and nurture our next-generation talents, HK4As will conjunctionally stage the Young Kam Fan Awards and Students’ Award, The Kam Fan Awards continues to champion creativity of the advertising industry. In 2019, a special category named “HK Roots 本地薑” was added to celebrate work that demonstrates the uniqueness and excellence of Hong Kong creativity with strong relevancy to local insights, culture or behaviour. Work in this category is judged by a special HK Roots Jury composed of local cross-media and multidisciplinary creatives.

Jury President

Joji Jacob is the Regional Chief Creative Officer of Havas South East Asia and North Asia. He is also the Creative Partner and Cofounder at BLKJ Havas Singapore. The 60-strong agency counts amongst its clients some biggest brands in the country and was declared Creative Agency of the Year at both the Singapore Creative Circle Awards and the Hall of Fame Awards in 2018. Before founding BLKJ, Joji was the Group Executive Creative Director of DDB and oversaw an integrated creative department of 140 creative directors, copywriters, art directors, digital designers, and technologists. Under his watch, DDB Group Singapore became the most awarded Singaporean agency at almost every award show. Joji himself has been named Singapore’s Most Influential Creative Director by the Institute of Advertising Singapore and South East Asia’s Creative Person of the Year by Campaign two years in a row. Joji has judged D&AD, Clios, AdFest, Spikes, and was the Chair of the Creative Circle Awards. He was also the Cannes Jury President for Print and Publishing in 2016. And has been appointed President for the One Show radio and Audio 2024.
